Transit options in the San Francisco Bay Area and Marin are ramping back up! Beginning Monday, June 7th, BART will be doubling the number of 15-minute frequency trips on weekdays by adding 26 new trips on lines with the highest ridership. Saturday service will also increase with 16 additional trips. BART hours remain 5 AM – 9 PM on weekdays and 8 AM – 9 PM on weekends. Click here for more information.
In addition, Golden Gate Transit will make regional adjustments effective Sunday, June 13th, with some trips arriving or departing from the San Francisco Financial District.
Muni Metro subway stations reopened on Saturday, May 15, 2021, with full N and KT routes. Wi-Fi service is now available in stations and tunnels as a result of system improvements over the pandemic. Additionally, a new temporarily combined 36/52 route will service the Forest Hill, Miraloma, and Sunnyside neighborhoods, running a loop between Forest Hill and Glen Park stations. F Market and Wharves service has also returned on the historic streetcars.
